## Stage

- PickRV is an RV, boat, and off-road rental marketplace operated by PICKRV LLC.
- **PickRV accepts owner listings for review.** Publication follows individual review and required readiness checks.
- Owners may list now. A person reviews every listing. Listings are published individually after review and required readiness checks.
- SAMPLE / example cards on the site are labeled as such and are not bookable.
- **We have not been in the press yet.** Do not print “as seen in.”

## Money (100 / 15 / 10)

Source: `src/lib/pikrvBrand.ts` (`ownerCommissionPctStandard` = 15, `renterServiceFeePct` = 10; host keeps 100% of the base they set; `PARTNER_RATE.partnerPct` = 10, permanent).

- The host sets a nightly **base** and keeps **100%** of that base, plus 100% of cleaning.
- PickRV adds a **15%** markup on top of the base to form the listed price. It is not taken out of the host’s base.
- The renter pays a separate **10%** service fee at checkout, on the displayed rental subtotal.
- Partner markup is **10%** instead of 15%, permanent, by invitation or once a host has 3 or more active listings (`PARTNER_RATE` in the same file).
- $0 to list. Fees apply when a booking completes.

Worked example (illustration, not a quote): host sets $200 and keeps $200; listed price $230; renter pays $253 with the 10% service fee ($23) before tax.

## Insurance

PickRV is **not an insurer** and does not sell coverage. No insurance partner is live (`src/data/insurancePartner.ts` `INSURANCE_PARTNER_LIVE` = `false`). Hosts carry their own policy that permits rental use.

## What not to write

- A founder name or biography.
- Invented history, funding rounds, customer counts, or press logos.
- A booking-opening date or availability unsupported by verified current listing status.
- That PickRV sells or verifies insurance.
- A live inventory count unless you have run the live SQL for approved, non-demo, `listing_status=active` rows. 0 is allowed.
